Running an Awards site is hard work, so we need all the help we can get!

There are several opportunities to help:


  • Judge - We'll need several. Ideally, I'd like to give each judge only 1-3 categories to deal with, but that will depend on the number of judges available. To judge you need to be willing to read a wide variety of pairings, so if you're a die-hard 'shipper, this might not be the job for you! In addition, you will be required to read and rate each individual story in your assigned categories. A judging form will be provided.

  • Make Award Banners - We'll also need a few people to make award banners.

  • Nominate - Use the nomination form to nominate your favorite angst and dark pieces.

  • Pimp - Snag a button or banner and pimp the awards in your journal or community.

  • Vote - When nominations close, make sure to come back and vote for your favorites!

I'm new to lj and love reading dark and angsty fics - will definately be nominating some that I have found and will look forward to finding new ones to read from the nom lists :)

hmmm...perhaps an alternate judge if you run short. It's been a while since I did judging, but I'm fairly sure it will all come back to me rather swiftly. *g* I just can't do any "Best Long" cats. Waaaaay to busy to get through 12 of them! May be too busy to get much done at all. Hence the "alternate".

In case of emergency...break glass and set IR in front of computer with category list. *g*
